Our instructor for the Free Singing Class program, Steve Tramack, is a 28+ year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He served as musical director for the Nashua, NH chapter’s Granite Statesmen chorus for over 11 years, with the chorus winning 10 District championships during his tenure. He is a past District champion quartet singer, having competed in the International quartet competition 5 times, and is currently the baritone of District medalist quartet Breakaway.
Steve is a frequent chorus, quartet and individual vocal coach and educator at several levels of schools and workshops sponsored by the Barbershop Harmony Society, including as a 4-time faculty member at Harmony University’s Directors College, held each summer at Missouri Western University.
Steve is a Music Judge in the Barbershop Harmony Society, and also serves on the District Board and International Chorus Director Development Committee.
He resides in Nashua with his wife, Renee (an International quartet champion and medalist chorus director in the Harmony Incorporated women’s organization), daughters (Christina and Samantha, both members of Harmony Inc.) and son (Joshua, a member of the Nashua barbershop chapter), and the family sings together as the Von Tramack Family Singers.
